Research as resistance: Struggle songs in community-based research with South African HIV-affected adolescent advisors

A long-standing group of adolescent advisors in the Western Cape of South Africa (n=16, ages 15-27) – recruited from a longitudinal study of AIDS-affected children – developed a musical theatre performance to reflect on their experiences of 12-years of HIV and health-related advisory activities.
